Some people might call this their gallery of PORTRAITS or HEADSHOTS (sounds dangerous, for the subject, at least).
I don't often ask people to pose in a formal manner when I take their photo, although that seems to be the default pose for most people when you lift a camera to your eye. Hence, this gallery title, REAL PEOPLE.
I have a number of images "hanging in the wings", waiting for approval. You know how sticky it gets when you want to show a photo of your friends or family or business acquaintance to the public. Not to mention photos of cute little kids either (but that's a hot topic all by itself.) Too bad.
Some people are just shy, while others want to know exactly what you're going to do with their image. I promise not to add any moustaches or funny glasses, but that idea does have some possibilities . . . To protect the innocent, no names will be mentioned in this gallery, so hopefully, you'll just have to enjoy the results.
UPDATE:
Faces and families are now appearing on this site! I've had a few couples ask if I would capture their families while at the beach this summer. Here are a few examples.
